Episode 108 features Coach David Breslaw of Richard Montgomery High School as he joins Chelsie as she broadcasts from the Capitol Hoops Summer League.
With Kurt away from the microphone, Chelsie takes over hosting duties and sits down with Coach Breslaw to discuss the Rockets' offseason journey and the opportunities that Summer League provides as the program enters a new chapter. Following the graduation of standout guard Tavares "Boogie" Cooper, Richard Montgomery is reimagining aspects of its system while preparing the next wave of talent to take center stage.
Coach Breslaw shares his thoughts on the legacy and tradition of Richard Montgomery basketball, the path his team must take to find success next season and the areas of growth he believes will be critical in the months ahead. The conversation also explores how his coaching style shifts during Summer League, allowing players the freedom to develop, experiment and expand their games before the regular season begins.
Chelsie also asks Coach Breslaw about being one of the few coaches in Montgomery County to have a woman on his coaching staff, leading to an insightful discussion on perspective, leadership and the value of diverse voices within a basketball program.
