Fresh off a Capitol Hoops Summer League semifinal victory over DeMatha, Israel Tchoubfong of The Bullis School joins Kurt & Chelsie with the Bulldogs headed to the CHSL Championship Game.
An accomplished player and an important piece of the Bullis program, Israel talks about the team's impressive summer, what has fueled their run through the Capitol Hoops Summer League, and the mindset following a big semifinal win over one of the DMV's most storied programs.
We also look ahead to the championship game and discuss how the work put in during June and July can help set the tone for Bullis when the high school season arrives.
And, of course, we couldn't let Israel leave without settling one of the more important debates of the summer: Who wins one-on-one — Israel or his Zack? The answer leads to a little family trash talk and plenty of fun.
